Blimey, we’ve been doing this bobbins for five years! Good grief! In this episode, we go back to the beginning to look at RuneQuest with Jason Durall, as well as other highlights from his career in role-playing.

Blythy and I face the randomly selected Thunder Phase suggested by Patreons.

First, last and everything is presented by Bud RPG Reviews.

I make a reference to Full Fathom Five, a Call of Cthulhu game that’s currently on Drive Thru Rpg via the Miskatonic Repository.

Here’s to another 5 years!

  1. I have returned to RPGs after nearly 40 years due to this podcast – currently running a Traveller and RQ:G game on Roll 20 – Thanks Dirk. Now just waiting for the Aftermath special…

  2. On the subject of re-using material… I find that 3-4 outings is about the most I’m happy to run a convention scenario, but it gets better each time as I add more material dealing with what the players go up to. Really I suppose I ought then to publish them for other people to use… except that most publishers don’t let random people off the Internet sell stuff for their systems.

    1. Search again – there’s a mysterious second feed emerged and I can’t work out how to kill the old one.

      1. I can not tell you how happy i am! I can only listen to Spotify at work for reasons. When i am doing my tors as a security guard, your podcast really inspires and entertains me. By the way, you are responsible, that i fell into that Glorantha and RuneQuest rabbithole. After 35 years of running rpgs, i finally found the one game to rule them all. Thank you for your great podcast, and my regards to Caroline.
