Virtual GROGMEET 2021

Enter the zoom of role-playing rambling!

The date is set for the fifth annual Virtual GROGMEET. It’s a convention that’s supposed to be online!

15th – 18th April 2021

GMs required

We are looking for Games Masters to participate in the event so there’s a broad spectrum of games to tantalise and delight our players.

This time we are offering the opportunity to run your game over different slots. Ever wanted to complete The Dracula Dossier in a weekend? Want to take your One Ring game there and back again? Do your Eternal Champions wish to travel the Moonbeam Roads of the Multiverse? Do you need more time to find The Enemy Within? Do you want to get off and explore more stops on the Orient Express? Can you clear the Borderlands in a weekend?

Feel free to offer the one-shot convention special too – there’s plenty of room for those – but we wanted to give you the chance to ‘go long’ or even ‘go slightly longer’. We hope this extra room will enhance your online RPG experience and give players more options.

Please complete this form before 15th March.

Put it in your diary …

15th April – Pookie’s Pub Quiz – From deep within his vlogging nook, Pookie of Reviews from R’lyeh has devised a fiendishly fun quiz all about role-playing games. Pull yourself a glass of shandy and grab a bag of prawn cocktail crisp to fuel the brain cells.

18th April – 11:00 – 12:00 First, Last and Everything with Tim Harford. Broadcaster, journalist, economist and member of the GROGSQUAD, Tim Harford shares nuggets from his gaming life and stories from his new podcast Cautionary Tales, live from the Zoom of Roleplaying Rambling.

16th – 18th April – Gaming slots will be available:

Friday 16th 19.00 – 22.00, Saturday 16th (Morning) 10:00 – 13:00, Saturday 16th (Afternoon) 14:00 – 17:00, Saturday 16th (Evening) 19:30 – 22:30, Saturday 16th (Night to Morning) 23:30 – 03:00, Sunday 17th (Afternoon) 14:00 – 17:00 and Sunday 17th (Evening) 19:30 – 22:30.

GM’s and Patreons of the GROGNARD files podcast will be able to sign-up first (we are trying a different approach this time, to avoid the mad scramble and ‘hit F5 hell’. The tickets will be openly available once the Patreons have selected their games. Watch this space for timings and details (Warhorn will be used to manage the sessions).

Thank you, Dirk.
