It’s that time of the year again when our thoughts turn to The GROGGIES, our review of the year, with a series of special awards for the highlights. Get ready to open the spurious golden envelope to find the winners.
We are delighted to have musical accompaniment by Paul Mitchener who also provides his First, Last and Everything. If you want to join the Mitchester Arms, you’ll find a link here.
We mention Kehaar’s White Hound campaign.
I have listed all the podcast appearances in 2021 on the GROGPOD page.

A very welcome festive treat, thank you. I’ve spent a year devouring your back catalogue and enjoying the benefits enormously. But now I have to wait impatiently for each new episode as if I was just some average punter. It’s quite the come-down. 😉 Quick question. Blythy mentioned five games early on but didn’t list them, maybe they get mentioned again later. Perhaps this is why most people wait till the end of a podcast before they comment. I don’t know.
Hi. My first was Palladium Robotech, last, Leading Edge Aliens and everything: GURPS in a 1980s military setting.
Very entertaining, as usual! For 2022, I’d like to daringly suggest you put First, Last and Everything to bed – it’s always dull, usually pompous and often both. Also, how about a Grogglebox for Beastmaster?
Thanks. It so happens that we are resting the FLAE segment for a while, we have another idea for 2021. Hopefully, anything that doesn’t engage you can easily be skipped (it’s the reason we have the magazine format). As for Beastmaster, keep watching.
If you are going to do the 90s, then might I suggest you take a look at Ron Edward’s Sorcerer.
